Family Support & Stabilization

Our Family Support and Stabilization (FSS) services are contracted through the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to help families achieve the goals outlined in their DCF service plan.

Our services begin when a Walden Community Services (WCS) clinician and family partner collaborate with the family to address their needs and work toward achieving DCF-determined goals. DCF then sets the service goals, defines how progress is measured, and determines when services will end.

This service is fully funded by DCF, and in some cases, caregiver participation is required by DCF.

Our FSS clinicians also play a key role in coordinating with other support providers, such as:

These organizations offer a wide range of services in American Sign Language (ASL) to support adult and family well-being.

We are committed to helping families access the resources they need to build stability, resilience, and a brighter future.
