About Us:
Walden Community Services (WCS) offers linguistically and culturally specialized wraparound behavioral health and clinical care services for deaf and hard of hearing children, adults, and their families. Our services include Intensive Care Coordination/Family Support and Training (Wraparound), In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring; and Stabilization.
We are the sole statewide provider for deaf and hard of hearing services for the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) under MassHealth as well as the statewide provider for Family Support and Stabilization Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals through a Department of Children and Families contract. We provide services throughout the state of Massachusetts— in communities as far north as Cape Ann, as far south and east as Cape Cod and as far west as Pittsfield.

Community Service Agency (CSA) Wraparound
Walden Community Services provides the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) services of Intensive Care Coordination/Family Partners (Wraparound). We provide linguistically and culturally competent services for families with a deaf or hard of hearing member, whether it is the child who is deaf/hard of hearing or the parent who is deaf or hard of hearing.
Community Based Services
Walden Community Services is committed to providing culturally and linguistically appropriate treatment for families with a deaf and/or hard of hearing family member. Our strength-based, individualized, and evidence-based approach supports youth with significant behavioral, emotional, and needs and their families. We provide in-home therapy and therapeutic mentoring to ensure the youth has optimal opportunities to thrive in their community.
Family Support and Stabilization (FSS)
Walden Community Services works with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) to provide family stabilization via Family Networks for families with a deaf or hard of hearing child or for families where the parents are deaf or hard of hearing.
